Case at the Columbus Historical Society documenting the Streetcar era - loads of great photos and items
My father passed away 15 December 2010. The flag is what the Army gave us. Dad's good buddy that served with him found the case and organized all of Dad's relevant medals and patches.

I wanted to experiment how far I could get with the design of a Computer case, from the standard that people picture in their mind when you talk about a PC, a boxy shape.
Even though it is watercooled, it is also less than 5 litres, and weighs about 2 Kgs.
I didn't paint it because I wanted to reach a point in which it looked good that way.

Right now It is my main PC, it works for everything and the specs allow for it, from 3D editing on Blender and Fusion 360 to playing at 1080p.

These scans come from my rather large magazine collection. Instead of filling my house with old moldy magazines, I scanned them (in most cases, photographed them) and filled a storage area with moldy magazines. Now they reside on an external harddrive. I thought others might appreciate these tidbits of forgotten history.

Discovered in 1784 by the German–British astronomer William Herschel, NGC 4394 is a barred spiral galaxy situated about 55 million light-years from Earth. The galaxy lies in the constellation of Coma Berenices (Berenice's Hair), and is considered to be a member of the Virgo Cluster. NGC 4394 is the archetypal barred spiral galaxy, with bright spiral arms emerging from the ends of a bar that cuts through the galaxy’s central bulge. These arms are peppered with young blue stars, dark filaments of cosmic dust, and bright, fuzzy regions of active star formation. At the centre of NGC 4394 lies a region of ionised gas known as a LINER. LINERs are active regions that display a characteristic set of emission lines in their spectra— mostly weakly ionised atoms of oxygen, nitrogen and sulphur. Although LINER galaxies are relatively common, it’s still unclear where the energy comes from to ionise the gas. In most cases it is thought to be the influence of a black hole at the centre of the galaxy, but it could also be the result of a high level of star formation. In the case of NGC 4394, it is likely that gravitational interaction with a nearby neighbour has caused gas to flow into the galaxy’s central region, providing a new reservoir of material to fuel the black hole or to make new stars.

One of ARK's long running projects is Riverfly Monitoring.I coordinate this and myself monitor at two sites.This is one of the eight key indicator species counted,a cased caddisfly larva.They build their cases out of small stones,leaves and sticks which they find in their home in the river.They will then turn into pupae and finally hatch into riverflies which live above the water.

Fort Guitar Case
This is an amazingly light case. It's made essentially with the same material as the inside of modern car bumpers and it's reinforced with hard plastic. It's got a canvas cover on it with backpack straps that makes it super simple to carry around.
