I was looking for something small to carry around the camera and protect it from getting banged up. Saw a Hasselblad "ever-ready case" listed at KEH, but couldn't find a picture of it anywhere. I ordered it sight unseen because it was fairly cheap.
Here's the case closed.
Followup, end of 2011: The case eventually developed a rip at the hinge that kept getting bigger. I had to toss it. Not made from durable leather.
Custom front panel switch, LEDs and USB ports and lower front intake grill made from speaker grille.

"We had a series of skits, put on by the fraternities and sororities. I don’t know how it ever befell on my responsibility, but I had the job of rehearsing and directing those fraternity and sorority skits. I began working with it around Thanksgiving and every night from then until the Christmas party I met in the gymnasium of Jefferson Hall, and we rehearsed skits.”

"Charlie Duke [College Bursar] was the ‘Lord of Misrule,’ and he served as the master of ceremonies and introduced the various skits and banged the floor with a great staff and really had a great time serving as the boss of the whole affair. After the skits had been performed and paraded and the winners chosen, there was dancing until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning.”

I was asked if I had any good pictures of cased images, and realised that the existing images I had online of this wonderful piece - www.flickr.com/photos/whatsthatpicture/sets/7215762621801... - did not show it in its case, so this is just rectifying that omission.

Bought this carry case to keep dolly things in. It has an elegant and vintage feel yet it is brand new. It was half price so also a bargain :-)
Edna is not used to wearing pretty dresses but I think this one suits her. Maybe she will wear pretty dresses more in future.
