I have decided to put on a digital photography workshop.

It's all about how to learn your DSLR, although if you have a bridge or point and shoot style camera with "M" (manual) setting that would work as well.

First 10 folks who are interested get a spot held for them.

Time: 12pm-4pm

Breathtaking scenic views up in the mountains. I was carpooling with my sister's family at the time. We were enroute to our camping trip with the rest of the fam! Fun times... (Saturday afternoon, ‎August ‎20, ‎2022)

This was during me and my families’ annual camping trip. This year, we went to the Wench Creek Campground located up in the Sierra Nevada, particularly around Kyburz, CA. Wench Creek Campground is located in a beautiful ponderosa pine forest on the east shore of the Union Valley Reservoir. The campground has 2 group campsites and several single-family campsites. Plenty of water activities await at this reservoir in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The Union Valley Bike Trail and Bassi Falls Hiking Trail are also worth exploring. Outdoor activities include boating, biking, hiking, fishing, sightseeing and more. Camping is all about disconnecting from real life, spending some time outdoors and strengthening your family relationships. One of the best things about camping is that you have nothing to do, and all day to do it. It forces you to look up from your screen, slow down, and appreciate your surroundings… From stargazing at night while sitting around the campfire, to waking up early to watch the sunrise and prepare breakfast, camping is the perfect outdoor adventure for creating lasting memories! ‘Til next time, safe travels! (Camping trip taken place August 20-22, 2022)

We had 39 people turn out for the kayaking Sunday, and had to split into two groups. I carpooled down to La Jolla with Gary, Jenny and Vicki. And that's the kayak shop in the background.

A jewel of the Slovenian aeroplane designer, athlete and the designer of sports facilities, the engineer Stanko Bloudek – the ski jump in Planica has been a venue for international ski jumping tournaments since 1934. Until 2011, Planica was the holder of the world record ski jump by Bjørn Einar Romøren from 2005: 239m.

Don't forget to support the project of sustainable development and come to Planica by train or by carpooling.

Taste a charged atmosphere for supporters as well as culinary delights in the Valley under the Ponce Mountains – Planica.

august 11, 2010 - so, this week? it's not only summer in-service week...it's also seussical tech week! i've been leaving for work around 7:30 each morning, staying until 4:30 - 5:00 each day, driving straight to mike's, carpooling with him over to jersey for seussical rehearsals and then driving back to his place and heading home from there. and we get to do this EVERY night this week.

tonight, i somehow let him talk me into going to iron hill after rehearsal. i didn't get home until nearly midnight. i'll tell you what - i definitely won't be doing that again, man.

As you may have heard, the FCC is intent on gutting the net neutrality protections that keep the internet free from censorship, throttling, and extra fees, and companies like Comcast and Verizon are pushing hard for Congress to pass legislation that would make this permanent. The single most effective way to stop this from happening is for as many of us as possible to meet directly with our members of Congress to show them there is widespread support for Title II net neutrality rules. To do this, Fight for the Future, EFF, Public Knowledge, and other groups are organizing Internet users from all over the country to travel to DC on September 26 - 27 to meet face to face with Senators and Representatives. Participants will be able to attend a training on how to make these meetings effective, and will be paired with a guide to show where to go on Capitol Hill.To make sure people can make it our, we are funding a limited number of travel stipends for people to fly out or taking public transit to DC. To apply for a travel stipend, and learn more about our day of advocacy, check out our site. Also, If you are planning to drive there or need a ride, you should check out our carpooling thread over at /r/KeepOurNetFree.Net neutrality is the basic principle that has made the Internet into what it is today. It protects free expression and innovation by preventing ISPs like Verizon and AT&T, from controlling what we can see and do online. The only thing that can stop them is a coordinated grassroots effort of constituents directly pressuring our members of Congress, who have the power to stop the FCC and vote down bad legislation. Please, Join us in DC and show congress that the internet needs to stay open and free. via /r/EarthPorn ift.tt/2xi2wKU

Chris, Ana's boyfriend threw a surprise birthday at Busby's East in Hollywood. I carpooled with Geoffrey cuz we live like 1.5 miles from each other. He called me saying, "We have a situation." I said what, "Is it because of Marco's going away party?" I told him that I thought about going to both but I didn't know Marco that well. He thought that Marco's party would be more fun. I told him I think so too, but we both were wrong. I got really bored and said, "Let's go to Ana's Birthday." cuz I felt bad if I didn't go. I told Chris I was going. I had a good time even tho we were there for a short time. Chris wanted to eat after. It was 2am and he said the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles on Gower is open late. When we got there it was super packed. The bouncer dude came out eventually saying that the cash register is broken so they aren't taken any more people. Dennys was a block away and I told no Dennys. The first thing that popped up into my head was ABC Cafe. Cheap, good food, and quick.

Taken for Assignment Houston #14 (Galveston).

Had a meetup at Mod Coffee & Teahouse, did a bit of a walk around and then carpooled down to the beach.

I met all the requirements to the best of my abilities, especially with the limitations of my camera which has a self-adjusting ISO system, and does not allow me to manipulate it. The photo is, for the most part, clear, and isolates the idea of a player serving the ball back into play in a soccer match. The apprehensiveness of the players she is serving to is also visible on their faces, but not to the extent of complete distraction from the subject. I believe I deserve an A on this photo because I went to a sporting event outside of my own schedule, and carpooled multiple photography students there. I displayed true effort by getting down onto the field and running myself around until I found a shot that was intense. Also, I adjusted the F-Stop and the shutter speed appropriately to capture that moment. Lastly, the delay on my camera is TERIBLE! Getting this shot was very difficult, and was a true triumph for myself.

Parking is tricky. Gated driveway makes for little room to park. Consider carpooling. The equestrian farm across the road may allow a single vehicle to park at a time, but probably wouldn't be too happy with a group of 'em.
