Carlsbad caves amazing underground natural sculptures
Carlsbad Caverns National Park!
Rocky slopes and canyons, cactus, grass, thorny shrubs, and the occasional tree, who could guess at the hidden treasures deep underground? Beneath this rugged land are more than 117 known caves - all formed when sulfuric acid dissolved the surrounding limestone.
Carlsbad Cavern, New Mexico. 750 feet down in cavern. there is an elevator. The climb out is pure Hell. Steep incline to reach the opening. As we get closer there is a horrible stench from the bats which also make the caverns their home.
Photos have alot of noise, I did not take a tripod on this journey.
