I took a tour through Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. It cost $14 and was worth every penny. The caverns are approx 800 feet underground accesible by elevator. It took about two hours to walk around the 'Big Room' which is only a very small part of the Carlsbad Cavern cave system. A person could explore here for weeks and never see the same thing twice. It is however, not camera friendly. It's super dark and the flash on the camera just isn't enough light. I had to throw away about two thirds of the pics cause you couldn't see anything at all in them.
