Volunteers pack over 200 Valentine's Day care packages for members of the Indiana National Guard 38th Infantry Division, which is currently stationed overseas.
Sophie and her friends decided to create care packages for us! How sweet-- basic amenities and a mug helped us get through over 2 months of heavy construction!

I got care package today! Maybe i'm weird but these kinds of things totally make my day. It's the first time i've ever received one and it was a surprise... it's nice to have nice people in your life.
The lady that sent it to me is a true blessing... she's a friend of my moms and she always sends me gift cards, money, just little things that help me out. they always seem to come at the perfect times. I hope one day when i'm in financially stable place i will be able to pass on her niceness to someone else.

The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics hosted an event for MLK Jr. Week of Service. Faculty, staff, & students all helped assemble care packages for the homeless. The Sisters of Charity founded and run the Shelter of Hope in Leavenworth. The care packages will be sent there.

Well, I got my little carepackage from Andrea. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Um, can you tell me if I lost anything cuz in a crazy fit of squealing, I emptied the bag onto my bed and a couple things bounced off onto my floor full of mini blackholes.
*squees* I'm so happy with mini Wataru AND the aviator's hat/goggles. I shoved it onto Marcel cuz he's the only bald one that I like xD

i'm sidelined for another 3 weeks...and i get THIS in the mail: homemade cookies, a peppermint s'mores kit, and a card from miss tsai in SD. it's for ting, step and i to share...what loverly girlfriends. time for an SD trip!! :)
