I've started stalking people from my work window when I have a bit of downtime... I loved that I was taking a photo of him taking a photo and he was none the wiser, thanks to the tinted windows of my building.
One of my friend was busy to capture the golden light in her mobile, giving me an excellent opportunity to take the same.

I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

My son Kayden.
This was taken last Saturday evening, quite late, he was tired.
It had been a strange and sad day. We were out to lunch with friends and I got a phone call, from the emergency vets. Our cat JoJo had been involved in a car accident and was too poorly so they had to put her down. He couldn't take it all in. Seven years old and his first real loss.
He didn't want to sleep and so Iet him stay up with me, I knew eventually he would fall asleep and then he wouldnt have to worry. 2nd wind kicked in and we did have a mad half an hour laughing and messing around with Coco our other cat, having a joke about the crazy things they both got up to. We took some photos of Coco and looked over old ones of JoJo
He wanted to do his "cool" face for a photo, he very rarely poses anymore, but always loved his "cool" face.
Whilst he looks handsome and cool, I can see very clearly the sadness in his eyes, which in turn makes me sad. It is true that a photograph captures more than the asthetic beauty but a deep sense of soul and thought.
Here’s how this shot came about:
I had an extra black mat that I just set down on my couch, against a pillow. The next night I turned on the lamp and thought the mat and orange pillow looked very good together in the soft light, but I thought it needed something. Than later I was in my back yard and when I seen the ferns, it just hit me :-)
