This lovely, peaceful neighbourhood was the scene of a canine unit apprehension of a young man. Those dogs are good!
This sculpture and museum is on the exact spot where Mandela was captured and arrested by the authorities in August 1962 before he was incarcerated.
The metal strips of the sculpture called "Release" slowly morph into Mandela's face as you approach closer and closer. It is brilliant, evocative, and loaded with symbolism. Dramatic!

Photography is not allowed in the temple complex itself , as there are signs up at all the openings stating No Photo one cant miss them but visitors cant let this opportunity pass without taking at least one image from a safe distance of this colourful Tamil temple .
