I was doing a senior shoot and they where hugging and I captured this shot. She is the baby of the family and is graduating this year.

This build was inspired by medieval cryptids known as “wild men” or “woodwose,” which were very hairy humanoids who lived in the forest and shunned human society.
According to legend, hunters would attempt to capture these wild men by luring them with alcohol, getting them drunk, tying them up, and then trying to extract whatever secret knowledge the wild men might posses.
“It once happened in that country (and this seems indeed strange) that a living creature was caught in the forest as to which no one could say definitely whether it was a man or some other animal; for no one could get a word from it or be sure that it understood human speech. It had the human shape, however, in every detail, both as to hands and face and feet; but the entire body was covered with hair as the beasts are”

This is my entry for the 12x12 vignette category of the Summer Joust 2024
This and all 3 shots which I’ve uploaded earlier, were taken yesterday afternoon (22 March 2010 somewhere around 15:25 PST). It took more then an hour to capture these moments.
The first thing I’ve learned while making these shots, you got to be full of patience, u maybe not get what you are trying to compose, but u might get what you've never thought about, and Yup! It often happens. Thing#2 before you go out and start ticking, spend good 5 minutes to find a place "from where you are going to shoot" and also "where the birds will be" because birds are quick, but they usually swings around to some specific diameter. Thing#3 u might find all this rubbish, the only rule to get creative, there aren’t actually any rules.

Recording 3: we were walking in the forest when we were ambushed by a small force of enemy troops. Sandstorm took a blow to the head and fell to the ground unconscious. They surrounded me and took me hostage, they loaded us into their ship. I wonder where there taking us: end of recording

The fresh sea in your nose, the wind blowing almost constantly and all around you there are potential motives.
I love living so far north. The sea doesn`t freeze because of the Gulf stream passing by our coastline.But still, it`s april and as you can see, the winter is indeed present :)
