My first image of Milky Way :) I take 8 shots at 16mm 2.8f 30s 2500 ISO, processed in photoshop and lightroom
Yesterday it was quite windy here so I went out into the backyard hoping to catch leaves falling. Well, that never happened but other opportunities presented themselves as usually happens. The quality of the light through the yellow leaves made for very interesting tones I think.
I was trying to capture the motion of the tree in the wind here.

Not at all what I expected to find at a museum in Chicago. German submarine U505 was captured by the US Navy on 4 June 1944 in the South Atlantic. After losing the battle, the Germans tried to scuttle the boat and send her to the bottom, but the Americans managed to board her before it could happen and despite being sabotaged by the crew, they managed to keep her afloat long enough to reach Bermuda. Now preserved at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. You can buy tickets to take a guided tour of the boat, or walk around the sub pen and interact with the many displays about U505 and submarines in general. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_submarine_U-505
Sometime we love to do this in the concerts. When our favorite track hits or our favorite rock-star start some heavy rocking we always tend to capture those moments.

So, if you ever have Barr Studios out for a shoot, don't be surprised if I call time out to chase a bird or a butterfly. lol. I think most of our clients know by now that I can't pass up an opportunity to chase wildlife at any moment. There are always those moments that tell the story of the moment and this image is exactly that moment for the shoot we were on. An engagement shoot with Amy Beth McGowan and Mason Gassaway. Two people in the Spring of their life. Just like the butterfly they are free and beautiful spirits who compliment each other perfectly.
