We recently repainted our living room from a kinda marine blue (color in top left of image) to a sand hue (color in top middle of image) and the B&W pictures of Central Park no longer seemed to work, so I decided to try out some canvas prints.
This is the first one that I had made from Qoop.com. It's 16x20 and it's stretched onto a wooden frame. This image of Fort Stevens State Park on the Oregon Coast was processed using Photoshop to look a bit more like a painting than a photograph. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Primered canvas wrapped around and stapled to balsa wood. Hanging from chains. Darker half died with tea. Provides nice ambient light, but need to step up the light bulb if you really want illuminating light.

Canvas (20”x20”)
These were done with similar techniques. Each one has a song in the background and the picture gets updated regularly. The removable picture is printed out in Black and White so that there is no need of coordinating the colors between the four.
Got two of my recent shots taken up in Cape Cod printed to canvas and gallery wrapped. Very impressed with the way they came out. Ordered them from canvaspress.com, I'll be using them again.

This is a detail of a "work painting" done by Michael Price, an English artist who lived and worked in Munich for many years, now based in New York.
He works solely with natural pigments ( if interested )
I'll post the entire canvas some time.
