I had wanted to canoe down the Grand River since the first day I saw a map of KW (Kitchener-Waterloo (they're basically the same city)). Unfortunately it got put off until my time was definitely coming to a close in Waterloo. I phoned some friends, got a canoe, and cajoled Jameson into accompanying my on this most excellent of adventures. You're right, nothing at all : )

Streamlining the camp gear we packed up in a canoe and paddled our way over to Little Square Pond near the Saranac Lake area. Finding a campsite only accessible by water, we had a campsite completely off to ourselves.
