Llyn Geirionydd lies in a valley near Capel Curig and Betws y Coed, North Wales UK, where the northern edge of the Gwydyr Forest meets the lower slopes of the Carneddau mountains. The lake is almost a mile long and covers an area of 45 acres
12 ft canoe with 12'9 Expandacraft hulls as outriggers makes it very stable and increases displacement over 260lbs.
This and the other canoe picture here were taken within minutes of each other at Chanonry Point, the UK Mecca for dolphin watching. I was there to see if any dolphins appeared which they did but didn't do much so I turned my attention to other things. A chap was paddling his canoe just offshore so I tried some ICM stuff on him and got these two quite acceptable images. I was fortunate enough to get this one into VECC 2013.
This is totally different from what I usually do, but I love to capture families for who they are and I love how beautiful Utah is.
