While going through my archive to find photos for a tourist brochure for the Glaskogen nature reservation I found this photo. I thought it would be fun to see if you like it :)
I took this photo while canoeing through this beautiful sunset in the Glaskogen nature reservation.
This photo is almost SOOC. I just pulled a little shadows and added some contrast and nothing else.
Thank you for visiting!

Canoe Bridge
Southwest, False Creek
Vancouver, BC
Canada
Canoe bridge was designed in the shape of a canoe and spans Jarvis Inlet and is located in the 2010 Winter Olympics athletes' village.
Appropriately named, this walk bridge was built on the waterfront of False Creek - well known for Kayaking, Canoeing & Dragon Boating.
The bridge was designed with the environment in mind. The bridge deck is made up of closely spaced slats that allow plenty of sunlight to shine through. This design minimizes bridge shadows on the water below, so that aquatic plants and creatures aren't affected by the darkness.

The fellow paddling also built this unusual craft. The front is a canoe but the back is decked over like a kayak. He said he likes to be a bit different. Taken at Port Townsends Wooden Boat Festival woodenboat.org/

I liked the light and the repetition of the canoe hulls stacked against one another.
I wish I had a dollar for every morning walk at the lake where I had thoughts about capturing an image of the rental boats near the public boat landing. Last weekend I finally did so.
I had my camera, the light was right, and these canoes were in a nice formation. I anticipated doing something in black and white as I released the shutter and this is the result.
I caught the moon coming up the other day, so this seemed natural. Of course, I can hardly breath this time without sucking up mosquitoes.
