This was taken in Mousehole harbour, Cornwall, U.K. There's not much more I can say really.

A couple of happy souls canoeing around Spirit Island and Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Alberta, on the most perfect of days...actually too perfect some clouds would have made a more interesting composition.

Hiding on my hard drive are a host of photos taken over the years, photos that have never seen the light of day. I got this shot at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park.

Glorious Day for a Paddle on the lake

During the lockdown, a look back at some of my earliest Flickr photos.

Clear Lake (Oregon) is a mountain lake at about 3000 feet elevation. It is known as exceptional freshwater dive spot. At this time of year, the sun makes light patterns on the almost white floor of the lake. With this day’s sun angle, my camera captured my shadow in our canoe as well as some colorful plants on the shore. Naturally, there is distortion and the canoe looks shorter and fatter than it really is.
