CANO’S CASTLE IS A SET of four gleaming towers, built single-handedly by Donald “Cano” Espinoza, a Native American Vietnam vet. It is a wonder to behold.
Built largely out of beer cans and other metal refuse, for Espinoza the castle serves as a thanks for having his life spared during the Vietnam war. Cano’s castle is actually four separate structures. “The king”, “the queen”, “the palace” and “the rook”. The four story “king” house, covered in gleaming beer cans and hubcaps, is his crowning architectural achievement.
Cano says his main influences for the Castle are “Vitamin Mary Jane” and Jesus

This is one of the more iconic scenes at Cano Cristales in Colombia.
Note in the upper area of the scene how the water flows into some tubes and then comes out around the water level.
As mentioned in some of my other shots of CC, the colours in the river are authentic and not a product of PS manipulation.

This Colombian river is located in the Serrania de la Macarena province of Meta. The river is commonly called the "River of Five Colours" or the "Liquid Rainbow," and is noted for its striking colours. The bed of the river from the end of July through to November is variously coloured yellow, green, blue, black, and especially red, the last caused by its unique Macarenia clavigera plants on the riverbed.
