Acompañado por el responsable de la Agencia de Prevención de Adicciones de Chubut, Claudio Mate Rothgerber, y el intendente de Puerto Madryn, Ricardo Sastre, el titular de la SEDRONAR, Roberto Moro, encabezó esta mañana la apertura de la cuarta asamblea anual del Consejo Federal de Drogas (COFEDRO), que congregó, en la ciudad chubutense, a los representantes provinciales en la materia de todo el país.
“Suponemos que en Argentina hay un aumento considerable del consumo de drogas pero nos faltan datos; por eso estamos comenzando un estudio”, afirmó Moro para explicar que el Observatorio Argentino de Drogas, que depende de la SEDRONAR, realizará el Estudio Nacional sobre Consumo de Sustancias Psicoactivas en Población General, cuyo objetivo central es conocer la magnitud y las características del consumo de drogas lícitas e ilícitas en el país.
Asimismo, el secretario de Estado destacó la implementación del Plan Nacional de Drogas que “fue avalado por todas las provincias” y mencionó que esta semana se presentaron los cuadernillos que se utilizarán para abordar la prevención de las adicciones en ámbitos educativos -formales y no formales- desde la etapa escolar inicial hasta la universidad. “Esta no es una temática solo de expertos sino de toda la sociedad”, concluyó.
Por su parte, Claudio Mate Rothgerber remarcó que “a partir de la llegada de Moro a la SEDRONAR se revitalizó el COFEDRO” y resaltó el “valor de estas reuniones”.
De esta jornada, también participó una delegación de Chile, integrada por la investigadora de salud mental, Anneliese Dörr Álamos, y la neuróloga pediátrica, Keryma Gallinato Acevedo, quienes expusieron sobre los “Efectos del consumo de marihuana en escolares chilenos” y el “Uso medicinal de marihuana y cannabinoides: qué dice la evidencia científica”, respectivamente. “No podemos basarnos en las anécdotas personales para implementar políticas públicas, no es suficiente, necesitamos de evidencia científica veraz y validada”, expresó Moro.
Por la tarde, la directora general para el Abordaje Integral de las Adicciones de Santiago del Estero, Claudia Tarchini, disertó sobre “Adicciones y emociones: aportes de la educación socioemocional al abordaje de la problemática. Experiencia de trabajo”.
Además, la directora de Educación para la Salud de Corrientes, Sandra Godoy, presentó el tema “Juntos Prevenimos”, mientras que el vicepresidente primero del COFEDRO y delegado de Entre Ríos, Mario Elizalde, expuso sobre la “Experiencia en polos preventivos educativos en la provincia”.
Desde el equipo de la SEDRONAR, la subsecretaria Lidia Saya presentó el informe de Desarrollo Territorial y el director nacional Fernando Trabucco anunció las propuestas y novedades para el 2017 en materia de capacitación sobre adicciones.
La agenda del COFEDRO continúa mañana: Elizalde, junto al vicepresidente segundo y delegado de La Rioja, Alberto Andalor, abordarán los “Avances de estrategias regionales del COFEDRO sobre drogas”. Finalmente, este encuentro concluirá con la redacción, lectura y firma del acta de la asamblea.
