When looking at a Certificate of Analysis, or COA, there are a few things to keep in mind. The first is that the report is generated by a third-party testing facility, which means that it is objective. The second is that the report shows the quantity of cannabinoids in a hemp product. This is important because it can help you determine the strength of the product.

The cool thing about #cannabis is the acceptance of this, and it does have different effects. While it’s still in the early stages, we’ve learned a lot.
They actually do affect #women and #men quite #differently. Men have been a major cannabis users in the past, and it’s only recently seen an uptake in women, so here’s what we know about how it affects men and women in a different manner.
Does it really?
A lot of studies have cropped up, and with new articles coming up every single day, we’ve found that there are a lot of different elements that come with the usage of #cannabis.
Some are small, but some are big. With the stigma continuing to diminish, a lot of people are seeing differences in the way it affects men and women. With more research being put forward, there is definitely a lot of interesting things coming under the pipeline that are worth looking into.
Ages introduced
Men tend to get into cannabis earlier than women do, usually around high school age or sometimes college. Women ay use it much later in their lives. This is usually based on the risks of #use of cannabis, and usually, most women are scared of the side effects of potential dependency when they’re young.
However, once a woman turns thirty, they’re two times more likely to develop a cannabis use. This is something that also is starting to have less of a gap in age due to the idea that #marijuana is #not a gateway #drug.
Consumption
When it involves the consumption, men usually take more than women, and usually, a lot of women tend to have the same side effects that men do at smaller amounts. When you look at animal studies, females tend to be much more sensitive to THC effects, and this sensitivity is due to the differences in the metabolism of #THC in those who consume it. Women tend to have more fat in their body, so since it is fat soluble, it may stop the #psychoactivity of the compound and its ability to hit the bloodstream.
Both men and women tend to consume cannabis in general differently. Men like blunts and joints, and they like vapes and concentrates. Women end to prefer #edibles, #tinctures, or bong pipes, and there’s no reason for it, it’s just what they like.
Appetite changes
Usually, cannabis makes you get the #munchies, and the impact does vary. This is usually associated with different strains, especially those which are indica in choice.
Studies have found that some dosages of the #cannabinoid does cause more fasting #gastric levels in men, so it increases their #appetite, and in women, it slowed down, and the men had more interest in consuming food compared to women.
This would linger over the next couple of hours, and then, women would consume more.
The Sexual Side Effects
An interesting thing about this is that cannabis does impact the natural functions and sexual desires. Women do get impacted the most due to the estrogen in their body, which is responsible for their menstruation cycles, but also their #urinary, #reproductive areas, the blood vessels, heart, and brain.
When a woman ovulates, they have a ton of natural #endocannabinoids. When they have #THC, it actually does impact the sex drive, but only in small doses. However, with larger doses, the intercourse drive tends to lessen.
It also does cause more chances of #sperm that’s deformed though, which does impact the chance for #fertilization, but this is still early in its #research and #study.
SOME HEALTH BENEFITS OF CANNABIS OIL RESEARCH SUGGESTS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Cannabis oil can be widely beneficial and is considered as one of the most effective oils for alleviation of certain conditions and illnesses.
Researchers believe there are at least two active chemicals in cannabis that have medicinal applications: cannabidiol and tetrahydrocannabinol. Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, impacts the brain without a high, and tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as THC, has pain relieving properties
HELPS RELIEVE PAIN
Cannabis oil is often suggested for people who suffer from chronic pain, inflammation and occasionally in emergency pain relief. This is the reason why people who have been diagnosed with cancer turn to cannabis-related products, including cannabis oil, when they need relief from the pain of the chemotherapy or the disease itself.
IMPROVES HEART HEALTH
The elusive oils in cannabis oil can help improve heart health by balancing out the negative oils that are in a person’s system. In addition, the oil can stimulate antioxidant processes such as maximising the health of the cardiovascular system and scraping off excess cholesterol.
One of the health effects of cannabis oil includes the ease of pain symptoms from multiple sclerosis. The THC in the cannabis oil attaches to the receptors in the nerves and muscles in order to relieve pain. There are also studies that suggest THC helps to control muscle spasms.
HELPS INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASES
Studies suggest one of the effects of cannabis oil could aid patients with inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. The THC and CBD chemicals interact with the body’s cells, which plays an important role in immune responses and gut functions. The THC-like compounds that the body produce increase the permeability of the intestines, which allows bacteria in. The cannabinoids from cannabis oil block these body-made cannabinoids helping to prevent the permeability and ensuring the intestinal cells have a tightened bond.
INCREASES SLEEP LONGEVITY
If you suffer from the constant anxiety during the night time hours, or suffer from insomnia or struggle from getting a restful, undisturbed sleep, then cannabis oil might be the solution for you. The cannabis oil works by relaxing the mind and body, and generating a lower energy level, it will be easier for you to get your heart rate down and clear your mind to allow for a long, restful sleep.
HELPS RELIEVES ARTHRITIS DISCOMFORT
The health benefits of cannabis oil in regards to rheumatoid arthritis include promoting sleep, reducing inflammation, and alleviating pain. These effects of cannabis oil combined help to relieve the pain and discomfort that people with arthritis have.
HELPS REDUCES GLAUCOMA
In regards to eye health, cannabis oil has been linked to the reduction in glaucoma and the prevention of macular degeneration. As people age, eye health is one of the major reasons why people turn to cannabis oil.
HELPS SOOTHES TREMORS
The effects of cannabis have been shown to reduce pain and tremors, and improve sleep for those who have Parkinson’s disease. There has also been research that demonstrated improved fine motor skills among its patients.
HELPS RELIEVE ANXIETY AND STRESS
One of the most popular and well-known uses of cannabis oil is for the purpose of relief from anxiety and stress. The natural compounds found in cannabis oil are effective for releasing relaxing the mind, releasing pleasure hormone, reducing stress and inducing a sense of calmness and relaxation to the user.
HELPS TREAT PTSD
The naturally occurring cannabinoids, similar to THC, contribute to the health benefits of cannabis oil. The cannabinoids help to regulate the system that causes anxiety and fear in the brain and body. This specific use of cannabis oil has been connected to benefiting veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
HELPS PROTECTS BRAIN AFTER STROKE
Research shows that the effects of cannabis may help to protect the brain from the damage that is caused by a stroke. This is done by reducing the size of the area that was affected by the stroke. There has been research that has shown neuroprotective effects from cannabis that protects the brain in the case of other traumatic events, like concussions.
HELPS PREVENT CANCER
Early reports of research have shown that the active ingredients in cannabis oil can reduce tumour size and have preventative effects on cancer, and says that the oil makes it easier to beat cancer for those suffering with the disease.

#Cannabis is something that’s valuable and is something that’s been #consumed and cultivated for #millennia, and it’s been used medically too. This is something that was a popular drug back in the day but was then outlawed due to propaganda from this.
But the #cannabis world is trying to end the stigma, and show that it’s good for recreational use, but also medical and spiritual reasons too, and with different strains all having different properties and makeup genetically with this, it’s something to look at.
With more and more places legalizing #weed, there is a lot to explore here and understanding strains that are different, it offers knowledge on cannabis , and also helps with the decisions that you’re making, and is something which can be beneficial for a variety of reasons.
Lineage and genetics
Cannabis comes in the variety of various #cultivars, each of which come with properties that are unique, and with different genetics used to produce various combinations that are categorized either by #indica, or by #sativa #strains, this is something that people use to classify the plants, since the term when used to describe the effects of cannabis is long since outdated.
Cultivars all have different appearance, s effects, and when you consume it, there’s a ton of #cannabinoids along with terpenes that you can use to determine some parts of the plant.
Those #plants that are Indica do look short, have stubby and wide leaves, and sativa ones have slender and long leaves that are thin, but they are also much taller too.
Some of these also have different #terpenes that come with this, and you can actually look at not just the #CBD and #THC content, but the terpenes too to look at the effects, and you’ll understand the qualities that go with this.
Why this is important?
Some people may want to make sure that they’re getting a product that has the lineage that they want. Some plants that have specific lineage do influence some factors that are related to the yield and the quality of the plant too. Those that have certain flower colors, flavors, or the high it creates for example are big parts.
Jack Herer for example, may give you some anxiety, and if you know that, then the sour options may not be good, or anything that has jack #Herer as the plant it combines with should be steered clear from. Grape ape for example is one that’s good for specific uses, since it helps with calming the body and the mind down, and that’s because of the type of cultivar that it is.
Genotypes and Phenotypes
The genotype of da cannabis plant is the genes that get sent from the parent to the child plant, but then phenotype is when the genes get expressed, and this is something that tells us of the way it looks, and the genotype
are the genes that are in there.
The thing with cannabis is that they’re diploid plants, which means that they have two sets of different #chromosomes, one from the mom, and one from the dad plant. The combinations of this do impact the expression of this. The gene expression is based on your #genotype, so the same kinds of genotypes can have some major differences in phenotype.
This is also due to the environment around it. Sometimes, the sunlight that’s there, and the amount of water goes into this. Finally humans along with selective breeding also play a huge role in the way the plants work, and it also plays a role in the way it’s expressed.
