Been digging some old stuff from the harddrives, I never uploaded any of them because I never liked them at the time. Coming back to look at them a few years later and they have grown on me.
A prisoner of war camp where polish were held in WW2. I shot this with the intention that this would be a view that one of the prisoners may have had, lying in their prison bed and looking out of the window dreaming of home. These places bring up all sorts of inspiration for photos such as this.

We went camping for Thanksgiving and I was extremely thankful for this amazing light in the morning.
This is one of my favorite places for a quick camp trip. It's only 5 miles from my house. It's right by a small, lazy river that has catfish and white bass in it. I bring my raft here sometimes as well.
I don't usually bring this huge tent. I have a small backpacking tent. I brought this one today for what I call a 'gear test'. It's to make sure everything works and that I know how to set it up in case I have to do it in the dark at 2am.
We'd set off from Borrowdale the previous afternoon & walked over a couple of hills to camp out at Esk Hause.Next morning being more than half way height wise we were on top of Sca Fell Pike by 10am.Rory was well pleased with being the highest kid in England for 1/2 an hour. After a long misty walk down we ended up at the Wasdale Head Inn for a spot of lunch and a couple of pints for me.We pitched our tent for the second night between Sca Fell Pike & Great Gable with Wasdale Head directly below. After this pic was taken we fell asleep in the sun for an hour.

Camping at Monstay farm near Ludlow next week, some good walks planned....Tuesdays looking good for the Hergest ridge walk.
So not what I was expecting! I was expecting an open area with rows of RVs and tents. This was a very pleasant surprise.
