I just moved into a new apartment. Not the one pictured, but one with a lot of white walls, and a policy that doesn't allow pets! How am I suppose to fulfill my destiny of being a crazy cat man?
Lately I have been feeling trapped, or restricted by the walls I put up. When I feel this way I have to remind myself that I can change the way I think. I can be hopeful, and determined. Rather than pitiful, and gloomy, which leads to stress eating chocolate bars! I've learned that whatever it is I may be struggling with, to not be afraid to call for help.
Mad Max Fury Road was an awesome movie, with plenty of unique car designs. Calin has built most of them already in a perfect way, but lucky not my personal favorite yet, the spiky car from the sand bandits.
Calling this a rebuild true to the original would overstate it, but I tried to capture at least the spirit of the vehicle: Spikes!
hahah well, who would be on the phone with Dusk? He seems to be hiding from me... LOL

An adult Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), perched atop the backyard Garry oak tree calling to its partner.
Saanich, Vancouver Island, BC.
There had been frequent sightings during the week of a pair of two bald eagles in the same backyard Garry oak tree.

I was in our house, when I heard the familiar call of the red-breasted nuthatch. This isn't unusual, but what made it so was that it was sunny, and there were multiple nuthatches in our big apple tree. This is one on one of the lower branches; the green background is lichen on one of the other branches.
Finally got out in the Uk. A fresh location found yesterday. Spotted the rays and I couldn't resist having a smoke to help them out.
