This cougar was stalking its cage at the Cincinnati Zoo like it was checking the perimeter of its territory. Perhaps it was. A beautiful cat on a cold day.

For the better part of the day today I was out shooting in all of this beautiful weather. Due to an assignment I was in Wilda for the better part of the morning and then again later tonight. Such a stellar day, so many great images and locations. And then this one , the last image of the evening....this one really speaks to me and it wasn't something that I even really considered or thought about. It was really a bend and snap. But, getting home tonight it told another story, one that shows how much all of this dreadful news across the globe lately has me coiled up inside and feeling consciously and unconsciously a bit caged. The view from the seward highways first rest stop. The chain link fence was installed last summer by the Alaska Railroad to keep people off of the tracks. Now this is the view that you see of the Turnagain arm.
Fleur is a nymph that lives in the forest, she loves walking through the woods everytime! but she ignored that the forest could be a very dangerous place, until a fateful day she has fallen into a trap, a white cage, unable to escape... I wonder if anyone can help her..
