and where it was it was taken. It was taken during a visit to Calke Abbey. The Ice House at Calke Abbey is very unusual in design. It was been built around 1820. So no worries.. our little sweetie was not in any danger :)

Night street photography has a certain addictive appeal.
Not withstanding the inherent dangers, there is an atmosphere unique to this environment.
The B&W harmonics seem reversed when composing and the geometrics become an entity in and of themselves.

Cage suet feeder in my front yard. It had just stopped raining and the sun came out, which made for some nice bokeh on the trees in the woods.

Montana Rail Link SD45 No. 377 pops out the the east portal of Mullan Tunnel west of Skyline, Montana, on September 3, 2003. The unique “squirrel cage” round duct structures on both side of the portal hold ventilation fans that are used to evacuate exhaust smoke and fumes from the bore. They were installed by Northern Pacific in 1948, with twin 250-horsepower fans blowing air out the west portal. The fans were deactivated by BN in the 1970s, but MRL reactivated the right one in 1993 to help with smoke issues. Both were removed in June 2009 as part of extensive Mullan Tunnel clearance improvements.

M made a staircase for a bank which is an exception, because it is bild like a "Faraday Cage" ... you won't get access to this inner building part, but the managers are safe from lightning strike while climbing stairs ...
it is actually more a drawing / watercolor of mine than a photo ...
