Two cables run over these pulleys between the bull wheel and the counterweight. Not seen in this view, the bull wheel is to the left and the counterweight is in a pit below.
Cable car 15 leaves the Barn for its inagural run. The original 15 was built in 1894 and retired a few years ago and would have been painted in the same color scheme used 1894-1902 by the original Market Street Railway Company.
Cabled Toddler Socks. Pattern is free from quietish. I knit these in Bulky Valley Berkshire and size 8 needles to get a perfect fit for a 3 year old.

Riding the Cable Car up to the Top Station, I took this shot of the station in the middle. It drizzled earlier and the weather was hot. A moment later, it began to drizzle again. As you ride the cable-car, you can view the virgin jungle below.

the work experience guy helped fix the computer. i didn't know they had holes thru the mobo just in case you need to cable tie the heatsink to the cpu. very convenient

By the way, the first one was quite easy to drill. The /second/ one broke 3 drill bits, which were each in turn lodged inside the bolt in a very very troublesome way.

The second section of the cable car rises to 13500 feet to Apharwat atop the mountain. The slopes from Apharwat down to Kongdori are laden with thick snow in winters for skiing. This is one of the highest Gondolas in the world.
