Plenum HDMI cables are specially designed and manufactured to be utilized in areas such as between drop ceilings and actual ceilings, where ventilation is present, and fire risk is higher than in non-ventilated areas. Plenum HDMI cables use more flame-retardant and/or low-smoke Jackets to reduce toxins released in the event of a fire, as well as limit overall flammability. Plenum cables are widely used by building contractors, to meet code obligations.
Pattern: Cap Karma by SmarieK. My ravelry page for the project here.
Yarn: The Alpaca Company's Astral, 50% Tencel, 30% Alpaca, 20% Wool. Super soft, super shiny, super shed-y. It's hard to capture the color of this, which is a shiny deep purple/brown with black lowlights. The drape in the fabric is awesome, too. :)
I picked this yarn up last year on a visit to Alma Park Alpacas. They are awesome! I even named a pair of socks I was knitting at the time after one of their cats! :D (I plan on visiting again sometime in August. YAY ALPACA FARM VISIT!!)
PS - They have an online store and an etsy shop!
