Yesterday when I was exploring this area, it was overcast and lightly snowing. Overnight there was about two inches of snow on my truck when I woke up. I wasn't sure what I was going to find today. Luckily, the snow melted quickly on the roads, and I was able to explore three more canyons today.
I came back to Twin Lakes and had a much better sky. I'd never driven on the South side of the lake, and I really liked the view of the snowcapped Sierras from here. It was a bonus to get a few yellow aspens in the picture too.

Union Pacific’s CA-7 caboose No. 25437 trails the PVSC local out of Provo, Utah the morning of March 28, 1987. The caboose was built by the Union Pacific in February 1959 and retired in July 1990. It was later put on display in a railroad-themed park in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
