Già dopo i primi metri di salita sul tortuoso percorso verso Villars il paesaggio comincia ad aprirsi e le montagne circostanti a fare da cartolina. Breve fermata in prossimità di Bévieux.
Schon nach den ersten Höhenmetern auf der kurvenreichen Strecke in Richtung Villars öffnet sich die Landschaft und die umliegenden Berge werden zu einem Postkartenmotiv. Kurzer Halt in der Nähe von Bévieux.

Come è normale che sia dopo le 18:00 di una giornata di settembre, le ombre iniziano a invadere la vallata. Proprio sfuggendo da una collina dietro la quale il sole si è nascosto facciamo una terzultima fermata per fotografare la locomotiva in modo piuttosto frontale.
Wie es an einem Septembertag nach 18 Uhr üblich ist, beginnen die Schatten das Tal zu durchdringen. Wir fahren gerade weg von einem Hügel, hinter dem sich die Sonne versteckt hat, und legen einen drittletzten Halt ein, um die Lokomotive frontal zu fotografieren.

No its not fake train Friday yet! Despite the very colorful paint scheme this is indeed a real service. Due to the morning failure of the second trainset, the panorama trainset which is normally for special trips was placed into service for the afternoon trips. I had almost decided to head to another destination when in Villars I saw this roll onto the platform. I was elated to get one of the original red scheme BVB motorwagons and rode the service up to Villars sur Ollon where I got off to photograph the return trip.
