Haven't done much about bees, and as the garden is inundated with them at this time of year, I thought I'd give it a try. I must have taken about 30 shots to get this one. All the while I'm thinking I'd better be careful - you see I'm allergic to these little critters.
But I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the result here.
You can almost hear the buzzing.........
We found a "Buzz Lightyear" glove-thing on the side of the road.
Luckily, the laser still worked. Ryan brought the space-accessory along for the ride...

Buzzing the tower!
Ok not really...this is two of my images combined together to try and make it look like the jet is buzzing the airport tower.

Buzz came in for a revisit check to assess his ear. He still has an infection and required extended ear drops.

Sometimes you just miss. Just as I got this wasp in focus... it decided it didn't want its picture taken and it took off. :|
So you all have a lovely closeup of some Joe Pye weed buds and flowers, and a slightly blurred wasp as it lifts off.
Buzz and I discovered a lovely patch at the base of the water tower that contained numerous species of wildflowers including Water avens, bugle and vetch. I went back a couple of days ago to see what else had flowered and was heartbroken to see the whole area had been strimmed!! The only thing left amongst the carnage was a couple of these little beauties.......a truly sad day :(
