My goal this week was to take Buzz somewhere other than his own house and back yard :) I admire photos others have taken in which the dog is in the foreground and a lovely landscape is in the background. This only partially achieved what I wanted and I have a couple of other that I like better compositionally, but I like Buzz's stance and expression in this one. I usually remove his collar but since we were in a public area I didn't feel comfortable doing so for this shot. I should have moved the tag to the front though :) At least he is a good boy and I am comfortable removing his leash - he's too big of a chicken to go anywhere.

This was a cool ride - you sit in the cars and use the laser guns to shoot Zurg targets [anything with a flashing "Z"]. You can also spin the cars to aim at your targets better, kinda like the teacup ride. I scored 97,000 points to Kirsten's 13,000. We were both level 3 though; 3,001 more points and i would have been level 4...ah well. :)

My assignment for the night was fancy dress. I did it Steve. My flash was not within easy reach at the time, so I had to bump up the ISO. That's why it's so grainy...

(Interestingly, whether it was because Aldrin was in a wheelchair in addition to his bad arm, most people did not ask him for an autograph! Maybe because they knew not to... but most people were asking the shuttle astronauts for signatures.)
