Assignment: Low Key photography
I was hoping to get a "scary evil vicious dog" look in this photo, not sure I accomplished it. If I had more time, I think I could improve but, as usual, I am at the end of the week and need to submit what I have.
I find that this photo looks VERY different on my various computers. I was hoping to get his one eye bright and a suggestion of the rest of his face. You may have to view large to see his face. I used a flashlight to illuminate his eye and had to be careful to not blow out his white eyebrow.
Definitely better viewed large!
Fun assignment.
Done at the end of August 2004 @ Ultimate Arts in Madison, WI. Inspired by my event "Bumblebeat" from April of the same year. Taken from the "Supersting" flyer designed by Rene Garcia.

Entry for PencilJack Weekly Sketch Group #224. I draw Buzz Lightyear as the theme is Pixar characters.
Not the easiest figure to make but I really wanted to have Buzz standing & as the main decoration in my design so was very pleased with the end result.
...and back to the cakes...
This is from a cake for the official adoption of a brother and sister. The cake has a photo on it, so I can't show that, but the instructions were that the little boy liked Buzz and the girl liked anything girly...
