The less ergonomic version of the red button

It's black, with black lettering on a black backgound. When you press it a black light lights up black to show it works. What else it might do when pressed it hard to say.

(If you can't see it your monitor needs adjusting.)

Obviously you should view 'The Black Button' On Black

Sensor button equipped pedestrian crossing signal along Beam Avenue in Maplewood, MN. Despite the coating of ice on top it instantly sensed my finger over it and beeped.

Art Girl is sooooooo disgusted with the artworld today.

Poor thing. Her genius is totally misunderstood.

Button the Red Panda made my Mischief Makers

A view of the reglued button and purfling.

Crocheted in cotton 4ply from a magazine I bought quite a few years ago. The original was very short, barely past the bust in length, but I added extra length to reach past the waist to suit my taste.

Lovely feature button - handmade from stoneware clay and decorated with a floral detail. The glaze is actually 'dusky blue' but I've described it as 'oatmeal' since the blue is so subtle!

Measures about 35mm x 35mm.

Ladies button hole before adding ribbon

Mother of pearl layered button necklace. Stunning blue and white ceramic beads are used to house the mushroom buttons on top! Lots of layers and depth.

Denim blue beads wrap around your neck.

I won't be participating, but I *love* this button.

this is the first time I put a buttonhole on the back pocket. I like it very much... anothe way to make use of these suitcoat buttons that seem to be multiplying in my brown button jar.

Blogged

As I was having a whole 'lotta' fun sewing the other day I somehow found myself sorting through my buttons. Now you should understand that button sorting is a favourite pastime of mine and I need no excuses. It gives me immense pleasure to sort them into their individual jewel like colours, their various shapes, sizes, whether they have two holes or four....... Maybe it's because I'm a control freak or possibly that sometimes I'm a Teaching Assistant- buttons are an excellent educational tool as well you know!
