Messing around with the macro lens filters. Really super hard to get the subject in focus when I'm at f/1.8 with this gizmo.

The reason the title is "Button" is because the button on my jeans is my favorite part about this picture, it's so sharp and came out amaaazing. Also i applied a filter FROM MY CAMERA- a warming filter, i loveeeeee this picture.
Idk, i need to tan... ?
The 510N button sucked big time, got rid of the ridiculous IC inside the switch and replaced the button with a real pushbutton. Not only is it mechanically better now, but I'm also getting a much better current from the battery. The IC inside, whatever it was supposed to do, was causing some serious problems. Now this baby kicks ass!
My "cutting table" is actually 2 pieces from my old bedroom set (a dresser and a desk) that are the exact same size pushed back to back. This is the top drawer of the desk side. I found these tins at the Goodwill about a month ago and decided to color code and organize my button stash with them. I'm using some desk organizers I already had to house some Command Hooks (can never seem to have enough) and some more clips for my inspiration wall.

Meet Button, a playful giant that lives in the meadow. He is fashioned after one of my sister's paintings (Robin). Button has a wire skeleton, aluminum foil muscles and a pretty blue polymer clay skin accented with brown spots. His shading is done by alcohol inks and colored pencils.
this was an attempt to make a quilt like this one: flickr.com/photos/eggmoney/400373863/ , mine doesn't look like hers which really worried me at first, the buttons were an afterthought in place of quilting stitching and I love them, in the end I'm happy with it
One of my buttons from the 90s. I came out as bisexual in the 1970s. In the 1980s I belonged to the Boston Bisexual Women's Network. This button is from the Bisexual Resource Center.
Some folks find the term confusing (or think bisexual folks are "confused"). As with everything else, different individuals define the term differently. In my case it means I look not at the gender but at the person when it comes to a relationship.
Project Specs
Pattern: b14-27 Jacket (available for free)
Pattern Source: DROPS design
Yarn: Malabrigo Sock in Lettuce 57g (255 yds) and Boticelli Red 74g (325 yds)
Needles: Addi Lace 24" circular needle size US1
Finished Size: 6/9 months, but I think think my finished jacket will bit a 12/18 month old child better.
Modifications: Slipped the first stitch of each row on button bands and continued the slipped stitched border around neck hole. Used other end of skeins to work sleeves to cut down on finishing time.
Haven't been around much :(
Been looking and enjoying photos when I get a chance, just not much commenting or posting.
Here is a small series of recent client dogs.
I found this awesome diy button in a batch of vintage buttons and finally found a use for it. It's now attached to my new clutch, made on the potholder loom I made last week.
Chilly temperatures and intermittent rain did not deter vendors like man from selling their wares at the fourth annual Women's March in Washington, D.C.
Both GONE - This great little chair is one of a pair that have been given the full Like That One treatment. The frame has been re-painted, and we have done beautiful new upholstery with black button tufting and piping on a fresh green striped fabric. Also shown is a fun trunk with a burlap exterior, leather details, and numbers on the outside.
It was late in the afternoon and a slight chill was in the air. Best to button up your "cycle clothes".
