San Francisco Photo Walk with about 50 other photographers. Was a great experience. Wasn't the parts of the city I love best but I still got a few shots in. Shots were taken between Powell Street, up to Castro and Haight Street.

My butt is pretty empty at the moment - it should fill up as the weather turns though.
This is about all that remains of the single track line known as the Butts Branch, which was authorised in 1859. This descended from the north (Pitchcroft) side of the viaduct down to river level and curved north to a headshunt junction between the river and racecourse. The line reversed here and travelled south through a gap in the Bridge Street road bridge and terminated approximately 200 yards further along the river front.
The original aim of this line had been to access the Diglis area, where it was intended to interchange goods with the canal, but this section was never built due to opposition from the Church authorities not wanting the track to pass in front of Worcester Cathedral. So it ended just past what is today Brown's Restaurant.
I took my camera to the dog park yesterday and played with my "new" lens a bit. The sun was bright in the sky, the snow was reflective and my focus was slow... so my results weren't all I'd hoped, but I do like this pair of four leggers... even if its not a technically perfect image.

The park is located in Paris' 19th district, and is Paris' third widest park. It was built in 1867 by Haussman. Napoleon III ordered it and Jean-Charles Alphand designed it.
