Didn't I just see an ad for beach bodies? Take these three. Please! Here we are in the Age of Don Corona and it's time for some to get out and work on paddle boarding skills while others are at work building their butts for superior couch work. Screw So-cal distancing. After all, look what it did for those at So-Cal's beaches! So here we have Longmont's Lady's Lard Preservation Society at work on posterity... er posteriority. Please be seated! There will be plenty of carbs to go around. Well, if this crowd decides to get in the water, they will float superbly, exercise aside. Mac Lake could flush over the edges, too!
Well, it turned summer, badly, and I left the paddle boarders to drift aimlessly and these beach bodies to bulge. Now, while the day lasts, it's time to get snaps at McIntosh Lake, but without any social distancing allowed as long as Trump finds his Don Corona useful and can blame it on everyone else and hide data from prying eyes.
With a floater in the background. there is always a choice between real exercise and meal-prep exercise... Afternoon clouding might limit their UV to the 10 minutes required daily. Don't TOUCH MY SHOULDERS, that's red not orange you say? Are those folks along the shore dressed in PPE? Might be they are ready to deliver a dose of hydrquinone to each after they are engorged. It looks like that it will a big day on and near McIntosh water. I'm ready to get in!

I've shot with this red sweater many times...and yes I've done the nipple poking through the mesh with a few...but I gave it to Christina to retire it because no one had ever looked so beautifully natural in it. Gotta love those dimples.
Bee Butts ā Well, we may not "Break the Internet" with this one, but we like bee butts and we cannot lie!
This is the backend of a Lipotriches (Plain Sweat Bee) collected in Australia. This is one of the bees in which the males are known to form sleeping aggregations ā small groups to dozens of individuals clustering together on the same twig late in the afternoon and remaining there until after dawn. There may be quite a lot of ājockeying for positionā as males alight too close to another individual with low key aggressive interactions. Some clusters might contain more than one species. There has been little research on the reason for this aggregating behavior, although safety in numbers might play a role.

Anthophora terminalis. Orange butt. Three teeth. Internal wing cells almost entirely free of hairs (why are there hairs, sometimes hundreds of hairs, on many bees wings? Good question and perhaps answering that question would gain you the Nobel Peace Prize, but more likely it would simply generate mild curiosity among a very small academic crowd, unless your organization had a publicist who would likely hype it in a way that would get a lot of google hits so that the publicist would get a bigger bonus at the end of the year and reporters could interview you and write articles like "Do hairy wings make bees buzz?" or some other demoralizing, pun infested article that shows how very little respect you command compared to an astronomer (who, btw, discovering something so very far away that even the astrologists believe it never did and never will have any influence over our lives)).
