The new business cards I designed for February London.
Colorplan Ebony 540gsm
Black foiling, overlaid with white foiling
85mm x 55mm
Quantity: 1,000
Typeface: Custodia (OurType foundry, Belgium)
We went with the Colorplan range from GF Smith, a lovely, flecky, tactile stock. At 540gsm, it's quite a heavy weight but it feels great in the hand.

Double-sided glossy business cards arrived yesterday (500 cards)! And they're so smooth (from the glossy finish) I cannot wait to start handing these babies out! :D
Check out some of my samples designs here!
UPDATE: If you would really like one, I'd love to send you some (especially if you'll be sharing with friends/family). Feel free to send me an email with your mailing address and I'll send some your way, free of charge: madelaine.etsy@gmail.com

Jungle office
Safari or jungle style has been one of my go-to aesthetics for years, now. However, I only endorse photo safaris (not the kill-the-animals kind of safari).
Instead of “business casual,” I’m “business wild,” today. The mix of leopard, giraffe, hibiscus, and palm patterns is anything but causal.

Photo No# 1 of 2.
5:AM and I'm up getting ready for a run
to the mud, cobra, mosquito field ;-0-
But first lets talk about yesterday.
Thank you for your concern and well wishes.
Immigration took way longer then expected.
The specialty doctor told me due to lack
of moral fiber I'm excused from saving
the entire galaxy. But doing the
same same close to home
is a-ok with him ;-)---
Around 5:45AM we arrived at the m/c field after
doing battle with a tremendous amount of mud
and other obstacles all the way into and while
at the m/c field itself. High ground low ground
and all around ground was saturated with a lot
of standing water. Everywhere you stood was
3 or 4 inches deep in swamp like quagmire ;-0
Of course The Monkey, Pumpkin and Mr Boney
all thought this was dog heaven. The Monkey
never stopped racing around leaving a big
splash in his wake. Pumpkin chased after
him while Mr Boney took it a bit slower.
Even though we did go down one isle
I felt very uncomfortable with the very
deep ruts the scooter was leaving !
Finally made it back to high ground
but it wasn't much better as far as
the saturated ground and mud.
What I'm saying is we were real lucky
to get in, and get out but we made it.
That's a Big Ha Ha on Mr Murphy ;-)-
Once we landed at home the dogs
and bike were all hosed down.
I might mention we got home
an hour and 20 minutes
after our departure.
Huge Big Fun.
Dogs were fed 34 minutes later
and as mr heiney likes to say.
"a tired dog is a good dog."
They are all sound asleep.
I tried to start this thread when we got
home but soon found myself sound asleep.
No# 1 called the nuns, and they both started
laughing telling no# 1, "Mr Jon is really fatigued."
So this is a second attempt to get this story out.
Tomorrow and the next day I have appointments
locally so there will be no run to the m/c field for a
few days. Hopefully it might dry out, but I doubt it !
Notice the scooter/sidecar is at an angle ?
Scooter is buried up to it's axels, sidecar
is semi sitting on a flat rock keeping it
safe for the time being. When it was
time to take off I rocked it then it
was peddle to the metal all the
way to the next high spot !
Anyway the next photo, no# 2
show's The Monkey and
Ms Pumpkin playing
in more mud ;-)
Thank You.

And who knew they had such a great taste when picking the destination?
