With the Rocket trips now done, it's once again business as usual as Iowa 710 leads BICB west through New Lenox, IL.
owning a wheelbarrow is the fast track to running a small business. you can set up your own mobile mini-mart or earn money carrying people's shopping home. rig up a car battery and stereo and you'll have a music store on wheels. remember to register with NAWOUL, the liberian wheelbarrow union.
For 20 years he had a stall on this street selling homemade holy pictures, rosaries and candles. Now the city police has banned him from selling. Apparently with the specious reason that it would not be art. I suspect it has to do with Covid. The man is now protesting it. He is a Frankfurt original and has many acquaintances and friends. I wish him the best of luck.
Covered this Office Maxx business card Box. It did not go with my pretty new and improved Studio! I used vintage elastic with a button and old flowers to keep it closed. The french card says "work".
I'm going to apologize in advance for this post but I just take the photos, I don't control the wildlife ;-) So many captions come to mind for this photo but I went with the safe "family-friendly" option and called it "Monkey Business".

CSX's business train, complete with three F40PHs adorned in handsome Baltimore & Ohio inspired livery, rumbles north past the restored depot in Beecher, IL, about an hour from its final destination of Barr Yard in Chicago's southern suburbs.
While everyone else opened their closet and slipped into that cute little black dress, I always deferred to my black silk skirt and jacket. Sometimes I wore it with a silk blouse but often I wore it with a sexy lace body shirt.

Heading east for Altoona (Wisconsin) C&NW F7A 415 leads the spring inspection special past the depot at Hudson, Wis. on the old Omaha Road on May 5, 1982. After UP took over the C&NW the old depot was soon torn down. The unit was retired in 1985 and replaced in the executive train fleet, was sold, then sat in a dead line in Keokuk, Iowa for years before going to Wisconsin Great Northern in bad shape where it was eventually scrapped.

Better known as The 101 Mall.
The Business Design Centre in Islington, north London, has long been one of my favourite exhibition venues. It began life in 1862 and over the decades it hosted agricultural and cattle shows, circuses, military tournaments and motor shows. But after the Second World War, the place fell into neglect and faced demolition.
But it was rescued and restored by businessman Sam Morris in the 1980s, and the new Business Design Centre opened. Since then, this Grade II-listed venue has been in constant use for exhibitions, launches, shows, fairs and conferences, and it’s positively thriving.
