We had some torrential rain and thunderstorms last night. Usually get a decent sunrise the following morning but it's just too early at the moment. I could tell by the clouds it must've been a good one and was cursing myself.
This is about two hours after sunrise as the moisture began to evaporate and give a slight misty look everywhere.
The gate to this field is usually locked but when I noticed it open I found somewhere sensible to park ( It's a down a narrow country lane, ) and walked back.

Apparently you are supposed to just buy the parts and assemble it yourself...
Actually, you have to buy an old Citroën 2CV first to be able to build your Burton.

This is the Historic 13th Century Church of St Martin in the village of Burton Agnes Nr Bridlington in East Yorkshire ..
A sub-adult specimen of Lialis burtonis from a spinifex covered sandplain near the Petermann Ranges in central Australia.
A second photo of Saturdays Swindon to North East Christmas market special. The location as before iOS Burton Salmon, but this time around I have zoomed in for just the road bridge and loco.
Finally catching up on images from Yorkshire Dales trip.
This one from the lovely West Burton Waterfall which apparently was sketched by J M W Turner on his Yorkshire Tour 1816. He intended to make it a full watercolour but was never finished.

The Parish Church of Saint Andrew
The small hamlet of Burton Pedwardine is located a few miles south east of the market town of Sleaford in southern Lincolnshire. It sits in the district of North Kesteven and the ancient wapentake of Aswardhurn.
The parish church is dedicated to St Andrew and was rebuilt in 1870 in the Decorated style, the original church was built in the 14th century to a cruciform design with a central tower.
Two ALCOs in similar AW&W inspired paint pass through the south end of Burton Tunnel, the second longest bore in the state of Indiana.

This magnificent Elizabethan Manor House is situated in the village of Burton Agnes near Driffield in East Yorkshire,.It was built between 1598 and 1610 and is now a Grade I listed building..It is a very popular visitor attraction in this area.
These cliffs fill me with a sense of dread but also wonderment. I wonder how come I survived when I fell from the top.
