Lots and lots of them! And the din of the music, the cheering, the shouting... it was a fun day... a great way of enjoying oneself... once a year!

... at least. There was a moment when we got stuck in a crowd that we just could not get through. We had to turn back and try and alternative route!

We had arrived in Antwerp just in time for the big marches and the musical bands playing -- very different music from that of Amsterdam the day before!
