Notice the buff belly and the bright green gorget. The fake hummer in the forefront came off of a wind chime. I put it there for fun.
While photographing other birds at one of the blinds at one of the water features at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, a buff bellied hummingbird arrived and gave me a relatively nice perch of which I was able to take a few pictures before it moved on.

History buffs visiting Bellville will be pleased to find this structure just off of the main square. This will help get over the disappointment that most will experience upon laying eyes on the courthouse. One hanging occured here in the tower (fourth story).
