Exploring in my garden after an early morning shower, I was shocked when I came across my bleeding heart sprouts. The tip of every point on almost every leaf had a beautiful droplet...it looked like bubbles landed and froze in place.
Please view large :-) Have a wonderful Thursday, my friends!
Test shot with new camera.
Tamrom 70-300mm range with macro mode on.
Also first time using my flashgun which makes a huge difference when capturing water.
More to come soon!
My husband and I celebrate 42 years of marriage today....
This is one of the flowers from a present....couldn't wait to get back to photographing flowers, my favorite subject.
Thanks friends, this made explore because of you! #289
Bubbly is the word that best describes my daughter so I thought the title was perfect for her!
For my photography class this week our homework was to re-create an ad or famous picture. I thought this one would be fun! Kristen doesn't really have a pierced nose....but the girl in the original shot did so I had to "make" her one!

Fortaleza - Pinto Martins Int'l Airport (FOR/SBFZ)

Nice surprise: a brand new A320 for this Colombian low-cost airline, with this very smart livery. Delivery route: TLS-SID-FOR-BOG. Great to see another Colombian bird using Fortaleza as a tech stop during delivery flight! Avianca used to send their birds too.
Seen here at taxiway Alpha, arriving at the parking position after arrival from Sal Island.

On Saturdays I like to join a Zen meditation class at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. The Dream Lens is perfect for a backlight shot with tree stump and leaves in the back. The fully open lens is so light sensitive in a backlight shot that you need an ND filter, and even then the exposure is maxed out at 1/8000 sec.
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the curves and color balance, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Another photo of adorable Dennis from last summer, when he had turned one.
Now he is two already, and I photographed him again together with his family two days ago (which I will show in some time).
Check out more photos of him from last summer, in the links below the line!

A magic carpet of buoyant bubbles unfurls at my feet, fizzing and popping. Do I step onboard? Of course!
And now a bounce appears in my step. The bubbly personality of the sea is contagious! I see a million bubbles, and each contains a mixture of gases that could tell stories of ancient stars and faraway galaxies to anyone willing to listen.
The ocean is full of energy and surprises. She’s always busy cooking up new colors, inventing new creatures and singing new songs. Let me raise a toast to the sea, who herself is like champagne, filling me with effervescent mischief!
