You have brought the feminine image of God into my world. For this gift, I shall be forever grateful.

This weeks Macro Monday entry for 'in a bottle'. Bubbles seen through the bottom of a 330ml coke bottle.
At the upper end of the blob of slimy bubbles were two orange maggot-like creatures. They seemed to be blowing the bubbles out of their rear ends clearly visible in this shot. Their heads were burried beneath the slime, and not really visible. But the shape, size and colour of the abdomens looks a little like nymphal psyllids. The small psyllids certainly excrete a sugary substance from which their lerps (protective covers) are made.
Perhaps I have found yet another specie of psyllid.

Bubbles inside a spray bottle of a soap/vinegar cleaning mixture my wife uses around the kitchen. Gave it a shake and Illuminated it by sitting it on top of a flat LED flashlight.

When I look at this photo, my eyes gather together.
I still can't get uniform bubbles. I continue to experiment.
inquisitive Etta at the bubbles we found in a big puddle on the track of the South Lawson Fire Trail, two days in a row.
Intrigued to see if they are there again tomorrow.
Had fun with this one. Used a tiny tube from my husbands tool box. I wanted to do a frozen bubble but it was not quite cold enough.
Macro of bubbles made from soap, cooking oil, and water (2 inches deep) photographed several inches above glitter covered paper. Focus stacking to achieve clarity across the entire image. Later printed with nice results.
This is just club soda. I poured out it into the glass and turned on the light.... bubbles appeared in the bubbles!!!!.。oO.。oO
Happy Macro Mondays!
At -1 degrees I went out to create ice bubbles. Some did freeze, but these would not. Thought they still looked pretty though.
Kermit here was the lucky winner of Happy Moods Bubbles today:D We went to his house to try them out and take some pics:D
With the promise of a shared bounty, Glaucus-winged Gulls are drawn to a pod of humpback whales bubble-net feeding just to the east of the mouth of Resurrection Bay.
Apparently they look like bubbles! A quick spin...well hardly quick and many spins, shot in a dark hole, one single exposure no editing involved
Barely cold enough to freeze bubbles this morning. Most popped and the crystal formation was not as good as the frozen bubble I took on February 4, 2023 when it was really cold. But I was happy when a few froze.
I was walking down Market Street today and a guy was throwing soap bubbles up into the air. I thought I would take a picture of one and just as I pressed the camera button, it burst!
