i took a gagillion photos for my duet with aimee. and i couldn't believe it when these three bubbles lined up perfectly and did NOT pop on the grass. wow. it was meant to be for sure!!!!!!!!! ;-)
I took a trip to a local aquatic shop to get this photo. Luckily the staff were very accommodating even though I wasn’t buying anything lol. Quite tricky to get just the bubbles in focus when the fish were moving about so much. Thanks for viewing and HCT 😀

Bubble Spiral is a part of a series of spirals created in Ultrafractal 6. . This spiral was created using a brighter color, but I realized it looked a lot better when it was desaturated!
With the temperature at 17 this morning in Woodinville, WA, I thought why not go out and blow some bubbles.
After many attempts using just sunlight and my meat thermometer case as a straw ( !! ) , this was the best of a bad lot. It's not pin sharp, but I can say I've finally tried it ! HLCoF :))
One of my attempts at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Bubbles".
Shot with a Carl Zeiss "S-Planar 32 mm F 5.6" lens on a Canon EOS R5.
Just love a bubble bath, so relaxing!
The 5 minute rule for boiling an egg is just right for a dippy egg with toast soldiers. Firm white with a runny yolk, yum!!

"OH.......bubbles!!!! I want to play with them", says this little elephant.
I found this elephant on the street, probably someone lost it. You can see a little hole in his back, where the attachment was.
From the plate that I got the Forever Autumn shot, I got this macro shot of glass bubbles. Frame is 1 inch long or 26mm long.

Though it appears ready to topple over the side of the mountain, Bubble Rock is a very secure fixture in Acadia National Park, Maine.
Carried here from 20 miles away by a glacier during the last ice age, Bubble Rock is known as a glacial erratic. Rounded by tumbling in the glacial ice, it's easy to see that it rests on bedrock of entirely different material.
Eagle Lake, seen to the middle left in this image, is the largest fresh water lake on Mount Desert Island and in the National Park. Also formed by glacial activity, the lake reaches 110' at its deepest point.

Fresh water flows through a granite fountain at St. James Farm, a historic equestrian estate in Warrenville. The fashionable fountain, designed by sculptor Marcia Weese, serves as a watering trough for horses during riding competitions. Thanks for viewing!

Cleaning the car this afternoon, the bubbles in the bucket formed an amazing abstract, and fits nicely with this weeks theme!
The weekend! I have felt the last few posts I have had did not have nearly enough color, so it was time for BUBBLES!!!
And as a personal note, thanks to all of you, my contacts, for being a constant source of inspiration and encouragement!! You have all repeatedly proven yourself to be great, and talented people.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!
There is often a busker on the Southbank blowing the biggest bubbles ever, framing London's St Paul's Cathedral beautifully!
I always thought water boiling in a pan a bit boring but it does make quite a funky abstract.

Blowing bubbles in a tiny cup, this is the best I could do, no luck with a big bubble.
The cup is about 4 cm wide and so is this bubble.
Happy Macro Monday.
