Same exhibition. Those were darling little seals that Bubble loved instantly. She threw a real tantrum when she was told we couldn't take them home.
Here is a housefly blowing a bubble of liquid and holding it at the end of its proboscis before sucking it back in.
Even though there are a lot of theories for this bubble blowing behavior, such as to aid digestion, to cool the body, etc., nobody is sure of the actual reason.

feeling a bit off today. i figured that bubbles make the world happy, so i went and bought a bubble machine. it is hard not to smile when there are bubbles surrounding you ;)

OK I am more or less caught up. Last weekend Amy and the girls decided to do the Bubble run. I was unsure if I would go as I wanted to visit dad that day as well but I decided to join at the last minute. Unfortunately the crowd was so ginormous that I felt the need to hustle my way through it. I would estimate that I had one child or the other on my shoulder for 4 of the 5 kilometers...probably more. In the end I did get some fun photos, and I got to see dad.
Unfortunately the weather was not great for walking with dad so no photos to share from that.

Last week I went into my favorite thrift store and there in the display case was this cute pink elephant......I couldn't walk fast enough.....staring up at me was this cte pink face all covered in grey dust........I asked if it worked....the lady said yes ...I asked how much and the lady told me $3....needless to say I bought him and took him home and gave him a bath....He is so cute...you turn him on and he bows down and then raises his head to blow bubbles.....His little ears flap when he blows...now If I could only find the bubble container
