New York, Connecticut border south of Kent, Connecticut on the Appalachian Trail. This small stream that was a great provider of ice shots a few months ago is now a great provider of foam/bubble shots.
This little "bubble island" was under a small waterfall and was just spinning around. I wasn't sure if any of the 20 or so shots I took of it would work out but I liked many as they each show a different kind of detail of the bubbles and the debris underneath.
It was anchors away for the first annual Bubbler Regatta at Hawthorne Library! Kiddos created their own mini vessels from recycled materials, tested their seaworthiness, and raced against their friends down our raingutter course.

For a few weekends this season, we had the most exquisite bubble-maker ever. Susan of Rainbow Bubbles. She had buckets sitting out with her bubble-wands and bubbles for anyone to come up and use. And in this case, one of the villains from the fight cast stood on the platform nearby and played with bubbles till closing. These shots are from that session at the end of the day, with the setting sun behind him.
