Why not? ...........a wonderful idea.

I would dearly like to apologise for not being able to ask permission to take this picture but would, all the same, wish that they could see it.

Bubble magic! My son bought these with his $5 he got in a card on his birthday.

Bubbles from Chizuko (to the left) while Travus (to the right) is about to pounce and pop them ;-)

It's like a reverse snow globe!

Somehow I seem to end up with faces when I try to photograph bubbles. *LOL* What you're looking at here is bubbly and viscous hand sanitizer lotion poured into a glass beaker and placed on top of a light table, so lighting is actually from below. The picture was taken with the SuperMacro setting on the camera.

Assignment: Bubble fun

Yes, this is my house, and my yard, and my canine photographic assistants, and myself.

I had a great amount of fun with this assignment and it actually worked much more easily than I expected! If you wish to view a few more (including a couple of popped bubbles) I have put together a small set of images.

All around the old centre they had these transparent plexiglass bubbles which were heated inside. Pretty clever and haven't seen these before. Then again, I don't go out the house that much :)

Thanks to Mia for bringing in some props for today's class at the senior center. Lovely roses, vase, and mirror, and a fun time with friends.

The Champagne pool at Wai-O-Tapu thermal reserve is renown for myriads of carbon dioxide bubbles rising up from the hot water within the pool. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Champagne_Pool

Painting with bubbles is hard work! Especially when you are by yourself and the wind is moving and changing directions every time you try to get the bubbles and the shutter to synche.

I finally got a timer and bubbles and found a special place that allows sunset to hit the Queen Anne's Lace in streams of light.

The lucky shot of bubbles :)

Bubble tea is a fun drink at coffeehouses, and lots of coffee houses prepare it differently.

This particular variation is milk based, with black Tapioca ''bubbles'', served with colorful straws (which the bubbles freely travel up to the mouth in).

Fun flavors and colors, and can be served in either a to go cup you mix yourself, or in a glass (and you get to pick the straw).

They call it Bubblegum so I thought hey it must taste like Bazooka Joe Bubble Gum. I tasted the one pictured above and it is called Bubble Gum I didn't taste BBG. But that was due mainly to the fact that my mouth and throat were on fire! OMG... it's a superhot but far from the top of the list.

The bubble machine in the bathroom was one of the first times we got the little guy to smile. He seemed to completely forget how sick he was. A nice way to end a pretty icky birthday.

second of two - we had a happy half an hour with the bubble maker and me taking shots. This is in Hipsta - edited with photo toaster

Sometimes we struggled with bubbles forming as the epoxy dried. We tried to mitigate it by having the piece cooling off slightly (as opposed to warming up) to avoid outgassing, but never really hit the solution.

Making giant bubbles at the art festival

Bubbles flew at the Harbourfront Center this past weekend as kids of all ages took part in Newmindspace's annual bubble battle.

Abstract section of bubbles in a frozen puddle. More to come....

I didnt know that I could make him laugh this hard. I was having a hard time blowing bubbles and things just escalated from there.

Another attempt at trying to get a frozen bubble but it actually wasn't cold enough. Still it's an interesting shot I think.

I wanted to try to do something with this, blur out the background kind of this this shot but I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. If you know please give me an idea.
