Most of the time the fountain in the small Indian Well at Ames Park isn't running these days, but I managed to get a good shot of it when it was that slso shows the Indian head relief on the rock. This well was next to what had been a lily pond, but last time I was there, there was only one flower springing up. It seems that one by one, things are being removed from this little park, and it's a shame.
Given to the City of Ormond Beach by the Ames family, the grounds of what used to be the family estate offer one of the most peaceful and enjoyable parks in the area. There is dock over the river, and several benches to while away the time. Cement bridges go up to and over the ponds. There is a life sized alligator sculpture and a carved, wooden owl with marble eyes. In the river is a walrus peeping up from the water! There was once an egret statue and a lovely curved tree by a cherub birdbath, but the tree came down after Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, and the egret was broken and apparently never fixed, though the alligator's jaw broke several years ago and they managed to repair that. Despite wear and tear, the park is still pretty and people still frequent it daily.

Bubbles Up- Jimmy Buffett
A random passing bubble at a child's birthday party reminded me of the things we miss, the things that used to fascinate us as children.
This is a giant bubble blower and this is how they look at night. They were starting to freeze but were too big to land and photograph.
Backstory: on January 1st, some crazy people in Pesaro take a bath at around noon in the chilly waters of the Adriatic Sea to salute the new year. There was a guy blowing huge bubbles just before the event and I managed to capture this candid portrait near the seaport.
Now the snow has gone Evan has taken to getting out with his bubble-mower! I looked out the window to see his bubbles sitting on the frosty grass and raced out to get some shots.
During our mini summer (in Winter) I saw this family enjoying some larger than life bubbles along with lake front in Zurich.

One of the photos i used in the bubbles video, but edited :) It's a bit blurry but i don't care. I really like it.
I love bubbles♥
I blew a little bubble inside the main bubble. The little bubble then fell through the bottom of the main bubble, and put this shock through the bubble. Caught the moment nicely!
How to best describe it? It like a bubble convulsion! A major bubble wobble!
I wouldn't have guessed that this process would cause all those droplets in the air. I suppose it must have!
I'm actually surprised at the sheer amount of shock that goes through a bubble when it convulses like this. I've photographed bubbles popping, and it's more of a disintegration of the surface than an explosion. Or so I thought. Sometimes I could swear that the droplets from a bubble seem to also jump out like an explosion. In this shot the convulsion seems to act a bit like an explosion, as is kind of evident from the droplets firing outwards. Those droplets actually reward close viewing, so feel free to look at the large and full size images.
I often get asked for the details/stats for these shots. You can find them in the EXIF, but the critical stat is probably that it's 1/500th of a second. Not incredibly fast, but fast enough to show you something you wouldn't see with your naked eye. I love 1/500th for bubble shots because the droplets look like streaks. Go much faster and the droplets become a smaller part of the shot.
Yep! Nice!
I'm forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high, nearly reach the sky
Then like my dreams they fade and die
This was a very challenging challenge! Frustrating. Exhausting. Addictive. I learned a lot and know what I'll do differently the next time I try this. My biggest problem was lighting and focus. The fact that I don't have a lot of photography equipment also hindered me. My kitchen table was a mess! I would have liked to have taken the project outside for better lighting, but we've had nothing but rain and wind. So the virus isn't the only thing keeping me inside!
Cacing immensely enjoys bubble baths. I haven't seen her more jovial than when she was in a bath tub playing in the water.

This is for ODC or our daily challenge group for the topic: Bubbles
So I put on my brightest lipstick and blew bubbles in my milk! :)

Bubble
The world is like a bubble.
Floating,
barley on the edge,
ready to pop,
at any moment.
Make the world a better place.

121034 or 55034 (depending on your generation) ended its front line career this time last week. Seen here, in its final week of service being photographed from every conceivable angle at Aylesbury station. The Bubble Car would shortly be working 2P65 17.25 to Princes Risborough.
Kids and adults love to play with bubbles - so transient flying up into the sky. Sometimes you mix bubble solution with glycerin in a bowl then take a straw and blow, You get bubbles that last longer and sometimes you get a single huge bubble!!!!

Got my first Covid shot today... and maybe in the nick of time.. LoL!😂
This kiddo in the car parked next to us was blowing tons of bubbles out the window ... most sticking to their car. Couldn't help wondering if those little bubbles were armed with Covid .. 😷
(THIS IS A JOKE of course! )
*Bubbles in X-Large are kind of cool!
