m42 Pentacon 30mm f3,5 (Meyer Optik Lydith)

Didn't nail the focus unlike with the 50mm in the next shot (or with the same Lydith in the previous photo) but I liked the colours and effect produced by the lens nonetheless.... definitely recommend picking one of these up at around 30euros:)

BUBBLE PICTURES

do you know how hard it is to take photos of bubbles with your aperture set to f1.8? bubbles refuse to sit still

I took this photo using my Auto Revuenon 50mm f/1.8 which essentially is the export version for then West Germany of the East-German Meyer-Optik Görlitz Oreston 50mm f/1.8, which later was sold under the name Pentacon 50mm f/1.8.

Taken during a photo walk with my daughter Molly round Margam Park.

Diaplan 80mm/2.8 "poor Trioplan" bokeh

The Pentacon AV 80mm f/2.8 has distinct bubble bokeh. The lens is decently sharp but is extremely prone to flaring. While making the mount I also created a lens hood to combat the rampant flaring which causes a serious drop in contrast.

I suggest anyone who does buy this lens also fashion a lens hood out of a spare extension tube as I have done. This will also allow you to attach any filters you might want since extension tubes are threaded.

I admit it....I'm just a big kid at heart.

I know how to hula-hoop, throw a mean Frisbee, remember how to play jacks, can't resist a swing or sliding board, can still climb on the monkey bars and really miss see-saws.

Anyway, I finally found "Touchable Bubbles" and decided to play.

Test shot with Kodak Ektanar 102mm f2.8 projector lens

O.k., I HAD to post one more bubble shot.

This one landed on it's own out in the grass and I just couldn't help myself.

Alas, this is the last of the bubble shots for now....or at least until I can think of some new ways to incorporate them into more shots.
