Needing to relax after a hard day of work, I sank into a bath of lavender scented bubbles.
Very decadent.
I have a special night planned for us and it's going to start with me singing "All I Want For Christmas Is You". :)

of my friends in the Getty Friends UK Group did much better than me on
sales, they are SO talented!
I had the most beautiful testimonial written for me by the talented Peter
Chadwick LRPS peterchad take a peep at his
work, its lovely! It bought a tear to my eye that someone would take the
time to write such lovely things about me :)
I celebrated with a spa bath full of bubbles, scented candles and a glass of
vino .... the trouble is the bath is too long for me and in order to do this
I was gripping hold of the camera at one end (the strap got wet) and with my
toes at the other to stop me slipping under the water ... I did leave the
window open to reduce the steam on the camera and then put it safely away :)
What lengths will we go to for the love of our art!

New shower curtain. Oh how I love that new shower curtain smell; although now that they are more environmentally friendly with no PVC, that new plastic smell is barely noticable; but that's OK, the polar bears are happier and that, in turn, makes me happier. Polar bears are awesome.
I like my old curtain better, but it was getting worn out (how does a shower curtain get worn out anyways? It's plastic, it just hangs there) and this was my best option (at Target). Despite the fact that I feel a little underwhelmed with the design of my new curtain, a bath full of hot water and bubbles is heaven on earth and I usually stay until the water turns cold or until my husband pulls me out, kicking and screaming like a little kid. "But I wanna stay . . . "

AND- my St. Baldrick's donation site is up. In case you haven't heard, I will be shaving my head March 14th in hopes of raising money for pediatric cancer research. The money goes to fund fellowships all over the country. In addition I'll be giving my hair to Locks of Love, to make a wig!
The Pink One Easter Egg: Giant Candy Fluff Bath Bomb shell with a Creamy Candy Bubble Bar and Rock Star Soap on the inside! I'll get A LOT of baths out of this! :D

I was such a tom boy growing up didn't much care for girl stuff other than barbies and babies and I sold those at an early age for 25 cents a piece lol! I have since evolved into one mega girly girl! My wardrobe is FULL of pink and I love it! GTWL All things girly fresia bubble bath, candle light, and pink jewels! What more could a girl ask for? Guess you'll have to wait until my next GTWL pic! 365/171

Playing around with some off camera flash on a snowy evening. Flash on the left with 5' umbrella, flash right with no modifier. Pocket Wizards triggered one flash the other set to sync. Used NIK Silver Effex for the black and white and frame. Everything else is straight out of the camera.

felt i was neglecting little EJ in my stream...he has been a sweetheart lately. getting props from his sunday school and camp teachers for his sharing and empathy. he's been so helpful at home and purely joyful. he's always joyful but at times, has a quick temper. said temper is nowhere to be found. i'm sure it will return, but i'm relishing the 100% lover i'm getting right now.
