From her wedding day (Nov 2013)....I decided (yet again) to do more with this picture, this time a mono treatment in LR5. I took about 8 shots of her in a bubblebath and it's the ONLY photos I've taken that my wife has been really enthusiastic about.

A promotional shot that I did for the group 'Headline Honeys'. So much fun, there were bubbles EVERYWHERE.
I realize the texture is lost in alot of the whites, but we were going for a high contrast blown out, look, and the girls really dug the shots.

With the precious help of my friend and neighbor @Lola Vanilla, I spent time creating this space on my land. In RL, I'm just a fan of spas. D'you know that the world spa comes from the town of Spa in Belgium ? I happen to live real close to that place and I go to the historical spa in Spa pretty often. In these times of Covid, I can't.
So when I saw I had so much prims to use on a quarter of homestead, I said "If I can't go to the spa, the spa will come to me". And there is what I've spent the weekend and the beginning of the week doing. I'm quite proud !
Most of the items you'll see come from Black Nest, but also from Fourth Wall and Back bone. The rest is [Since 1975], SAYO, Kactus, HPMD, Apple Fall, ...
The finished cake. Chocolate with chocolate butter icing.Hope Miryana will be pleased with it, she just asked for a chocolate cake with white icing, the topper is a surprise :-)

Bubble Bath

I emptied my bubble bath into the tub,
Determined to get myself thoroughly scrubbed.
The bottle had said "ONLY ONE CAP OR TWO",
So I poured in the lot to see what it would do!
That still didn't seem quite enough to get clean,
So I followed it up with another fifteen.
Then three bars of soap and a dozen shampoo,
And two broken bath bombs to finish my brew!
I'll cut to the chase, this did not turn out well,
As the burbling, foaming bath bubbles did swell!
It wasn't all bad, I was clean and smelt sweet,
But outside my soap suds had buried the street!

Got a few more from the bath time baby shoot to share this morning, the same as before, but different if you know what i mean, its still a baby in a bath shot with a 50mm lens, but the angles and focus and processing are different.

I love bubble baths almost as much as cappuccinos, or bacon. OMG, a bubble bath with a cappuccino AND bacon! Oh yes, I may be on to something . . . but I like reading in the bathtub; bacon grease on the pages wouldn't be good. Need to rethink this . . .
Needing to relax after a hard day of work, I sank into a bath of lavender scented bubbles.
Very decadent.
I have a special night planned for us and it's going to start with me singing "All I Want For Christmas Is You". :)

I had the most beautiful testimonial written for me by the talented Peter
Chadwick LRPS peterchad take a peep at his
work, its lovely! It bought a tear to my eye that someone would take the
time to write such lovely things about me :)
I celebrated with a spa bath full of bubbles, scented candles and a glass of
vino .... the trouble is the bath is too long for me and in order to do this
I was gripping hold of the camera at one end (the strap got wet) and with my
toes at the other to stop me slipping under the water ... I did leave the
window open to reduce the steam on the camera and then put it safely away :)
What lengths will we go to for the love of our art!
