This was my Dad's antique drafting brush. He was a surveyor and would use it to clear off eraser bits. The horsehair brush is for the Macro Mondays theme of brush. HMM

Macro Monday - Set.
There are so many different brushes in the world but the humble paintbrush will always be my favourite. It can capture a person, a story, even a life. It gives life to the past and colour to the present time and in the future it will still be there with its stories.
As we used to say.

This is a collection of small artist brushes. Taken in natural light.

Immaculate 47245 clags away from Nantwich, having reversed there, with 'The Bootle Brush' 1Z28 0900 Crewe - Ormskirk. This was the first leg of a Branch Line Society tour of the Merseyrail system, with the crossover at Nantwich an added bonus. 47826 was on the back. 8th December 2019.
found this little critter on the way home from work, it's back half was hanging out of a hollow log. I thought some bugger had stuffed a dead one in a log. When I touched it , it pulled its head out , much to my surprise .I was happy to find it in good health.
