Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is brush.

So here we go: my blue paper boat sailing on a blue paint. And of course, the « blue river » was paint by a floating brush. I hope a floating brush will be accepted for this challenge even if it isn’t very common…

I hope you like it my friends !! Have a beautiful Friday ! See you later my friends !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

'Nature's Brush' is a macro photograph of a giant dandelion.

Weasels are very quick and active, but also very curious. This one gave me a quick look before disappearing into the heavy brush. Its white winter coat is out of sync with the habitat because of the extended warm fall weather we are experiencing here. It will soon find itself in the usual snow-covered ground.

Kalligrafiepinsel in verschiedenen Stärken!

Calligraphy brushes in different thicknesses!

I wish you a successful Monday and a good healthy week, dear friends! Thank you for your visit and I am glad you were here!

"The prestige of calligraphy is given in cultural history wherever the copying of sacred texts is itself classified as a sacred process: For example, traditionally in Christianity when copying the Bible or in Islam, where the Basmala is the most common calligraphic form. Even today, calligraphy is still important and inspiring for the Chinese and Japanese writing culture. More important than legibility is the achievement of perfect aesthetic balance and the visualization of emotions".

There were many wonderful wildflowers coming into bloom in the meadow and lake basin at Owyhigh Lakes. Paintbrush is one of my favorite wildflowers and blooms in a variety of colors in the Pacific Northwest, including orange, red, a lighter shade of pink, yellow, and my personal favorite, the magenta pictured here.

(You may notice a floral 'theme' to my posts this week as I am kind of obsessed with wildflowers. Walking into a wildflower meadow I can literally feel my heart lifting and radiating joy. Which then results in taking excessive amounts of flower photos!)

Macros certainly show every bit of dust and debris! Fortunately, my husband had two unused wire brushes with two small bands of bristles. Here you see fewer than half of the bristles.

And then the sun began to shine. The trick was to avoid blowing the highlights...

Tiny. This macro amounts to 2 cm or .79 inches of part of the brush. Thanks for looking.
