Rachel's friends invited us to go out to eat with them. I was really impressed. They didn't mind the old mom tagging along. A really nice bunch of "youngsters", I even told one of them to bring his resume by where I work and I'd try to get him an interview. He seemed really competent and has exactly the kind of background we look for at the art handling company I work for. It may have been a very happy accident for him that we met and had a chance to talk over a meal.
Saturday brunchtime, we had to wait for a table for a while, so I started looking to get some Rache pictures.. Isn't she cute? I love that our relationship seems to have turned a corner, and we are getting along great these days. And she's living in Berkeley, so I get to see her a lot. My Rachie Pie. :-)
